New DKP Rules (submitted by Starseeker at 09:40am EST)

DKP

Will use the DKP site for detailed tracking but will also use in game points in the guild window for everyone to easily keep up with.

Bidding

When loot drops, the raid leader will give everyone a few seconds to review the items and their points. The person doing loot will then call for bids to be sent to them (Usually the raid leader unless they are bidding). ALL bids to be sent via tells. The first round of bidding will be for 30 seconds. After the 30 second period the first round will be closed. The highest bid is announced, and then 2nd round will begin.

The 2nd round will last 30 seconds, and then will close. There will be a 10 second warning for each round. After the 2nd round, the highest bidder is named and the loot is awarded to them.

So would look like this: I would call for bids first round, and the following people send me a tell.

Van bids 10dkp
Lilithe bids 5dkp
Baren bids 20dkp
Red bids 15dkp

I would then announce in raid chat that the highest bid is 20dkp. 2nd round starts, and the following people send me bids:

Vandred bids 30dkp
Baren bids 30 dkp
Lilithe bids 40dkp

Lilithe wins the piece for 40 DKP.

If there is a tie for the highest bidder then those two players will roll rand 100 and pay what they bid.

All items have a minimum 1 dkp cost. The items will be offered first for MAINS on the raid with the toons currently present. You cannot go negative (unless in circumstances outlined in this document).

Loot no one wants: if no bids are received then the loot will be considered heirloom and will be offered to all alts. Even for alts there will be a minimum bid of 1 DKP, and the bid system will be the same for them. If no one bids for heirloom looting, then the item will be transmuted or sold.

Class gear and gear that is only use able by a few in the raid will still have a minimum of 1 dkp cost.

Masters also have a minimum of 1 DKP cost.

Solo bidder rules: If you are the only person who bids on an item, you will pay what you bid in the first round. So if you bid 10, you will pay 10. If you bid 1, you will pay 1.

*If you are the high bidder in round 1, and no one bids in round 2 except you, you only have to pay your high bid from round 1 since you can't out bid yourself

If you have enough DKP you can bid multiple times in one night. There is no loot item limit, however, please remember that you cannot go negative while bidding.

*Rot Rule: If a piece of armor can be used by a main on the raid who has no dkp, and is going to rot, an exception may be called to allow that person to go negative by 1 point to receive the item. Any negative points will be deducted from the DKP they earn on the raid. If a person is negative, they cannot bid until they have a positive number of points again. If you can use an item, and no one has bid on it but you have no DKP, you will need to notify the raid leader before the end of the bid period (before it goes heirloom) if no request is received, then it will be assumed no one needs.

You can only bid with points that you currently have banked (not any points you earn in the future or from the current raid).

Example: Star has 30 dkp on Saturday night, that is all the DKP I can spend, even though I will earn at least 6 points for being at the raid that night.

DKP is earned by the player (but on the guild ingame screen/ dkp site it will show under the main toon). Since DKP is earned by the player, it can be spent on alts (using heirloom rules listed above). This will subtract from your main pool of dkp.

For those who arrive late/leave early: If you arrive more than half way into the raid or leave before the half way point of the raid you only gain half the dkp for that night (3 points vs 6 points). *EXCEPTION*: If you leave a note on the sign ups with the TIME you are going to be there. Example:
Early (before 1/2): "I will be at the raid on time but have to leave at 9:30"
Late (after 1/2): "I will be in game at 9:45"

If you do not leave a TIME in your late note (or no note at all) then you will receive the penalty for arriving late or leaving before the half way point.

Official start/end times (for dkp purposes, a raid may go longer or shorter):
Friday:
Start:
8:30pm est
End: 11:00pm est
1/2: 9:45pm

Saturday:
Start:
8:00pm est
End: 11:00pm est
1/2: 9:30pm

Points:
Friday/Saturday evening raids:
+6 for being on the raid (This is per night not per zone, so if we do more than one zone its still only 6 points)
+2 for new named kills

Penalties:
-1 for leaving before the offical end time of the raid (11pm)

Total that can be earned on a main raid night: 6 points + any new named kills.

If we are doing a raid and a person shows up, signs up, but there is just not room they can still earn 6 DKP for being online when we form up or for sitting out.

However, no dkp will be earned if they did not sign up or if they do not show up. They only earn DKP if they are not needed or if there is no room (due to too many sign ups).

*NOTE FOR OPTIONAL RAIDS: Due to us recruiting primarily to Fri/Saturday raiding, the Tues night, Weds night, and Sat morning raids, will be rolling raids (non DKP) because they are commonly short people, and for a x2 there may be a lot of folks who sit out or may not make it because that is not really what we recruited to. We may change these raids or rules if we find a greater interest for weekday raids, but for now, our DKP raids will be our prime time Friday/Saturday raids.

There is no cap to DKP

PICKUP RULES:

Any non member who joins the raid (Pickup or friend) will receive DKP at the start of the raid to spend while on the raid. These totals and the names of the pickups will be tracked for 30 days. If they continuously raid with us, their point totals will carry over to the next raid. If a pickup becomes a contempt member, any DKP they have earned will be carried over, and they can still use it as a member.

4 DKP per fri/sat night raids

For a total of 4 DKP for a prime time raid.
